The Foundation
Dr. Felix Zandman discovered and developed the revolutionary Bulk Metal® Foil resistor concept- a breakthrough in precision measurement technology that would define our company's DNA.
1962
Vishay Intertechnology Founded
Dr. Zandman established Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., and the first production batch of Bulk Metal® Foil resistors shipped to market. The precise and stable characteristics of this technology quickly evolved into multiple foil resistors variations, fueling rapid company growth.
2002-2005
Strategic Acquisitions
